About us

Leener.co is a small company from Cologne that sells exactly one product: the Leener. To do justice to its name, this company consequently consists of just one person - Hannes.

At some point, Hannes came up with the idea of developing a handy wooden backrest to make sitting on his blanket in the park a little more comfortable. After working extensively on this idea in his workshop, he got in touch with regional workshops. From then on, he had the individual parts of his backrest manufactured there to ensure that everything was produced as transparently and ecologically responsible as possible. Gradually, all the parts came together to create the Leener.

And that's essentially all there is to say about the creation of Leener.co and this brand in general. I (let's not kid ourselves, I'm writing these lines myself) continue to look forward to every order since the official launch of this project in the summer of 2022 and am excited to see which corners of the world the Leener will end up in.
